Sam Burns

Sam Burns, a Louisianian through and through, has quickly become one of the most consistent players on the PGA TOUR. Since joining the TOUR at the start of the 2018-2019 season, Burns has qualified for the FedEx Cup Playoffs in four straight seasons, as well as the TOUR Championship in two straight seasons. The 2021-2022 season was by-far his best, winning three tournaments – the Valspar Championship, the Sanderson Farms Championship, and the Charles Schwab Challenge. Sam went on to finish the FedEx Cup Regular Season 3rd in the standings and qualified for the TOUR Championship where he finished 24th. In September of 2022, Burns made his first Presidents Cup appearance for the United States.

Prior to turning professional, the former Louisiana State Tiger was named a first-team All-American, as well as the NCAA Division I Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year for the 2016-2017 season. This is his first year on Team RBC.
